Security Manager Security is disabled by default. To enable security you must set a password for the master account. If no accounts are present you need to create a master account named 'master' (without quotes). Master Role The Master Role allows a user to do whatever they wish as if there were no security set in Nevitium. User Role The User Role only allows a person to process transactions. Other actions are denied such as exporting data, changing settings or security, or writing checks. Notes Nevitium security only shields people from accessing your data on your machine. If they obtain your data it is possible to access it from another installation of Nevitium if they know which which file to delete. You more fully protect your data you can use your Operating System's encryption abilities or if you need to transport the data to a trusted party you can password encrypt it with a compression utility. However, it is NOT possible to read passwords from the user database. Ultimate security is up to your utilization of your operating system's file/user level security.
